My work is a journey into capturing the essence of a specific place and moment in nature or time. I believe landscapes are deeply intertwined with our memories and the emotions we experience in those spaces. The vibrant yet harmonious colors in my paintings are inspired by life's most vivid memories—those that linger long after the moment has passed.

Much of my artwork celebrates life’s greatest adventures across Colorado and the greater Rocky Mountain region: backpacking trails, days spent on the river, quiet campsites, breathtaking road trip vistas, the sacred spot where vows were exchanged, the places that shaped us, and, most importantly, moments shared with our favorite people.

After teaching elementary art, I took the leap into becoming a full-time artist in the fall of 2019. These past five years have been a wild, rewarding ride, and I couldn’t be happier with the creative space I’m in now.

This year, my days will be filled with nap-time paint sessions, experimenting with new materials, diving into inspiring podcasts, connecting with a creative community, and seeking adventure. Infusing creativity into each day has opened my eyes to the beauty and vitality of this profession.
